Workshop: November 26

Maureen told us a bit about the history of the Library of Congress, which has been in existence since 1800. She also provided suggestions about using the website and demonstrated a few of the discoveries she has made there. The handout gave us specific links to useful sections of the website, such as the catalog, prints and photographs, genealogy services and "ask a librarian." The newspaper website "Chronicling America" can also be accessed from the LOC.  Thanks, Maureen!
