Sharon Horton provided our mini-topic last night. Sharon and her husband have been researching for many years, visiting towns and villages along the way. She has published two family history books and shared her research process and ideas for compiling the books. Her slogan is "Collect--Compose--Complete."

Sharon used a website called My Canvas to compose her books. This website allows you to transfer Ancestry information directly and to add photos and other embellishments to the book. She also pointed out that it is important to have an ending point to your story with some closing thoughts about your ancestors. If you have an interest, visit
