A couple of years ago Patty Foley organized a group made up of representatives from the genealogy clubs at RV parks in the Casa Grande area. We meet twice a year to share ideas about speakers, field trips and any other useful information that might help us improve our clubs.
This month Patty invited a woman who plans bus tours to talk about a possible trip to Salt Lake City next November. She will be spending the next couple of months working up a tour. Tentative cost would be about $900 for the bus and hotel accommodations in Salt Lake. We'll post more information when it is available.
Earlier this month Nancy, Maureen and I attended the April genealogy talk at the local library. The speaker's topic was the new version of FindAGrave. She was very knowledgeable, and except for problems with the library's WiFi the session was excellent.
