Thanks to Maureen and Mike Salter and Rick Wood we now have locks on our new cabinets! Even the leftover sawdust has been removed: a special thanks to Maureen! That means the club's genealogy books will be available for use next Tuesday.
This past week's workshop concentrated on census research. We are happy to report that our beginners have all had success in locating ancestors in various census years. Sometimes those rascals are quite elusive.
Next week will be our last workshop of 2016; meetings will begin on January 3 with a presentation on the FindAGrave website.
Be sure to consider attending the annual Pinal County Workshop planned for January 28, 2017. All necessary information, including the registration form, can be found at www.pinalctyazgen.com. If you bring your completed registration form and the fee to next week's workshop, I will deliver it at our next committee meeting. Forms must be postmarked by January 14 to qualify for the $20 registration fee.
