British Isles notes

We have returned from a cruise that visited ports in the British Isles. At Cobh in County Cork we visited the Cobh Heritage Center to see an exhibit of the history of Cobh, including information on the Irish famine, the Titanic, and the Lusitania. A local genealogist has a desk in the lobby of this building; he will do genealogy consultations for a fee. We talked with him for a while and got some ideas for researching one of Dick's Irish brick walls. We have his contact information if someone in the club is interested.
